So it has been a little while since I have posted. I am still in such a rush with school, homework, and making time for the important people in my life it feels like I haven't slowed down in days.
I am looking forward to a nice weekend though, and I am hoping I am going to have the time and funds to do a little shopping this weekend. I need to get spring ready :)
I also have wonderful news! I validated yesterday at school for Medication Administration and I passed! I can now administer medications; and that includes all types of injections and of course oral meds. I am beyond relieved to have that behind me. I have been so stressed out practicing drawing up medications and finding the right sights on the body to give each one. It was very hard but I did it and I couldn't be more proud. I am getting more excited about nursing school because I now feel like I am learning things that I will actually use in life. In English classes they always tell you "You will use these skills for the rest of your life!" and while that is true for certain things; I am so glad that I don't have to use my essay writing skills for the rest of my life and I get to inject people for a living! ha, I definintely picked the right career choice!
